Niume is a writing site or a collaborative blogging platform where you can post your articles and get the chance to earn a little bit of money from your writing. It's free to join and you can start posting and earning right away.
You can use this link (aff link; we both get $1 each) to join or this one (non-aff link; no one gets anything, which is why, up to now, I still regret not knowing about Niume's affiliate program before joining the site).
Anyway, Niume's a pretty good site. I like writing and posting articles there especially since their minimum requirement is only 5 lines (not that I'd ever managed such a short post. Somehow, I always seem to end up publishing really long articles. LOL).
Problem with Niume
One of the things that I don't like about Niume is how hard it is to post there. I talk more about exactly what's going on here and here. This issue is especially frustrating because it's been happening ever since I joined the site.It got to the point where I started dreading posting anything there. That's one reason why I don't post there everyday even if their minimum requirements are so low.
Having to publish the same post over and over again is such a hassle and a waste of time. Missing out on views and possible earnings can be disheartening as well.
Trying to contact Niume
The very first time I experienced this problem, I tried to contact Niume via the site's messaging feature. I got the impression that they were very welcome to being messaged thanks to this:I got this message soon after joining the site. It says:
Niume Blog & Support 17/10/16
Hi Freya, welcome to Niume!

So, when I was having trouble publishing my very first post on the site, I decided to reply to that message, saying:

Hello. Thanks for the welcome. I'm enjoying Niume so far, but I need some help with publishing my posts here as I'm having a bit of trouble.
I click on the submit button and then get taken to a page where it says my post has been published. I click the finish button and then-
I get taken to the sphere where I published my post. Sometimes, I see my post listed there. I click it and it opens. But, when I refresh the page, I get redirected to the Niume homepage.
When I check my profile, the post I just published isn't listed there. Or, if it is, after I refresh the page, the post disappears.
This happened with my very first post and I've had to publish it maybe 3 or 4 times before it finally stopped disappearing.
As I write this message, I'm still having trouble publishing my second post. I've tried maybe 7 or 8 times already and the post still won't show up on my profile or on the sphere where I published it in.
When I check my drafts page, it's still there. Can someone advice me on what I'm doing wrong and how to fix this? Thank you very much.
Regards,
Freya Yuki
However, I didn't get a reply to this message. Initially, I thought maybe I wasn't able to send the message properly, so I tried again. I sent another message, saying:

Hello. Good day. Can anyone help me? I’m new to Niume and I'm having trouble trying to publish my second post here. I click on the submit button and then get taken to a page where it says my post has been published. I click the finish button and then-

I've already tried logging out, clearing the browser's cache and cookies and then logging in again, but it still won't work.
When I check my drafts page, it's still there. Can someone advice me on what I'm doing wrong and how to fix this? Thank you very much.

Even now, I have yet to get a response for either of those 2 messages. And, yes, unfortunately, I'm still having problems publishing posts on Niume.
Using Twitter to contact Niume
Niume has a Twitter account (@niume_official). I sent them a tweet asking for help, but they've never responded.Using an article to contact Niume
Aside from this publishing problem, I also experienced a problem with the Niume dashboard. There was a discrepancy between the number of views listed on my dashboard and the one listed on my profile page. I talk more about that problem in this post.Much to my surprise, Niume Blog & Support actually commented on said post, saying:
Niume Blog & Support: The reason for the difference is the dashboard shows by default the last 30 days of activity. If you have 8 total posts but have posted only 4 in the last 30 days then logically it will show 4. Since our latest launch this should be a lot more clear with the date range being shown.
Unfortunately, their response didn't really help much. I replied, saying:
Thanks for the response. I did notice that the new update now displays the Niume Wallet, which appears to be accurate. When I select the dates, the correct number of posts is now displayed, but the number of views is still incorrect. As the screenshot below shows, even with the correct dates (October to December as I joined sometime in October) selected, the number of views listed is only 683 while my profile shows 1.2K and even the value in the Niume Wallet reflects that. I hope Niume will eventually allow us to see data/stats via an all-time view, so we don't have to use the custom date range and just click a button or link or something that will show us the total number of views, revenue and posts we've obtained since we joined the site. Again, thanks for your response and hope you can further clarify this issue.
They have yet to respond to this comment.
Using email to contact Niume
The screenshot below shows a comment from Niume saying they can be contacted via support@niume.co.uk. It sounds like they'd readily reply to emails sent to this address, but I haven't tried it yet.So far, I've read about 1 person who has gotten a response from Niume. But I've read of many more who have tried contacting Niume, but, like me, have yet to receive a reply. The screenshot above is from this post. If you look through the comments on said post, you'll see quite a number of people saying they've tried to contact Niume, but there was no reply.
What about you? Have you tried contacting Niume? Did you receive a reply?
