How to Join the Writedge and Daily Two Cents Forums?

Tuesday, November 8, 2016
Did you know that Writedge and Daily Two Cents (writing sites that used to pay-per-view, but, unfortunately, they've both changed their payment model) have a forum where you can ask questions and get help in case you need it or if you’re experiencing problems? How can you join the forums?

Member support

One of the latest blog posts about Writedge and Daily Two Cents is that they’re changing their member support system. Before, there used to be an on-site support system so you can easily contact the admin right from your WordPress dashboard when you’re logged on to either website. Now, you can contact them by using the appropriate Facebook group, via the aforementioned blog or by using the forums.

So, how can you get started with the forums? Unfortunately, you will have to create an account if you want to use the forums.

First, go to this URL – http:// writedge.com/forums. Click on the "Register" link near the top (beside the login link).

Terms of Service

You’ll be taken to the terms of service page. It’s fairly short, so it shouldn’t take you that much time to read it. After reading it, just click on the "I agree to these terms" button (if you don’t agree, then you can’t create an account).

Registration page

After clicking on the aforementioned button, you will be taken to the registration page. On this page, you will have to input your chosen username. For me, I just used the same one that I’m using here on Daily Two Cents and on Writedge. You will need to enter your e-mail address and your chosen password.

You can choose whatever timezone you want. After you input all the required details, just click on the "submit" button. If there are any errors (for example, if you forgot to add numbers to your password, etc), you’ll just be brought back to the registration page so you can correct them.

Activate account

After registering, you will have to activate your account on the forums. You’ll be sent an activation code to the email that you used to register and you just need to get the code from there so you can log on to the forums. If you try logging in with the username and password you just created, it won’t work since you have to activate your account first.

If you have any questions about this or need some help, feel free to ask :-).
